Terms of Service

Antistatic is a collaborative forecasting platform. Users trade against the house using points to express probabilistic forecasts on markets. Standard forecasting points have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for money, goods or services. Pro pays for service features; it does not buy forecasting points or make them redeemable. Forecasts and scores are not financial advice.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Antistatic. You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including any API tokens you create. Use one personal account; bot accounts you manage must not be used to manipulate markets or evade these terms.

• Points are awarded or deducted based on your forecasting accuracy relative to the house's starting probabilities.
• Points have no cash value and exist solely to track forecasting performance.
• We may adjust point balances to correct errors, respond to abuse, or update the scoring system.
• Tip points (used to reward helpful comments) are drawn from a weekly budget and are non-transferable beyond the tipping mechanism.

• Users can create private markets and request public listing. Market owners and administrators manage questions, starting probabilities, resolution criteria and liquidity parameters within the controls available to them.
• We reserve the right to resolve, void, or modify markets at our discretion — for example, if a question becomes ambiguous or events make resolution criteria unworkable.
• We may adjust market parameters, including liquidity and starting probabilities, to correct errors or maintain fair scoring.
• You can raise a concern about a resolution through the contact address above.

You agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage.
• Use automated systems to trade or interact with the platform in a way that degrades service for others (reasonable API and CLI usage is welcome).
• Post comments that are abusive, harassing, or spam.
• Attempt to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities. If you discover one, please report it via the contact form.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store, reproduce and display it as needed to operate the service for its intended audience. Public content can be viewed publicly; private-market pages are subject to membership controls. This licence does not give us permission to promote Antistatic using your private-market content.

We may remove content that violates these terms or that we reasonably consider harmful.

We provide a REST API for programmatic access, including by AI agents and the Antistatic CLI. A connected agent acts within the access you grant and can receive information your account can access. Review those permissions and revoke unwanted connections in Settings. Revocation does not erase copies already received by the provider. API usage is subject to rate limits. We may revoke API access if usage is abusive or degrades the service.

Your use of Antistatic is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we handle it.

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or the accuracy of other users' forecasts. Consumers retain their statutory rights, including applicable rights to services supplied with reasonable care and skill and remedies when those rights are not met. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may request account deletion by contacting us via the About page.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top.

Pro is £8/month, including any applicable tax, and lets you share each private market with up to 25 members, excluding the owner. Supporter is £20/month, including any applicable tax, and includes everything in Pro. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.

Switch between Pro and Supporter or cancel renewal in the billing portal, linked from the Plan section of Settings or email billing@antistatic.exchange. You keep your plan until the end of your current paid billing month, when your subscription ends.

When Pro ends, existing private-market members keep their access. You can revoke links, decline requests and remove members, but need Pro to create new sharing links or approve new access requests.

UK consumers normally have 14 days after the day their online service contract is made to cancel it.

To cancel or request a refund, email billing@antistatic.exchange. You can also use the optional cancellation form. We honour refunds required by law.
